Shared Services for Charities (SSC), celebrated our 10th anniversary on 31 October 2019 with a Gala Dinner at the Conrad Centennial Singapore. President Halimah Yacob was our Guest-of-Honour at this commemorative event, where we honoured and thanked those, we had the privilege of serving and collaborating with over this past decade.

Governance & Leadership Workshop 2019
The 3rd Governance & Leadership Workshop, held on Friday, 19 July 2019 at the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) Multi-Purpose Hall, was to be the 1st of three events, Shared Service for Charities, planned to host in 2019, in conjunction with our 10th anniversary celebrations. After carefully considering several viable themes with CNPL our joint host, “The Stewardship Role of the Board” emerged as the preferred choice. Why? Because the term Stewardship aroused multifarious interpretations which gives rise to unwarranted confusion.
SSC & CNPL Joint Workshop 2018
In keeping with its original intention, the 2018 workshop, jointly hosted by Shared Services for Charities (SSC) and the Centre for Non-Profit Leadership (CNPL), now into its 2ndyear, is designed for senior and mid-level leaders. Recognising the importance of Annual Reports as one of the key pillars of disclosure and transparency, the joint planning team opted for the following theme: Annual Reports – Communicating Value Creation To Stakeholders and designated 31 May 2018, as the event date.
Annual Seminar 2018
That the event might just have to be cancelled, was more than a remote possibility. We had recently hosted a workshop in late May, thus, taking on the Annual Seminar so soon in August, seemed rather daunting. Unfazed by the predictable challenges, the team, unsparing in their determination, pressed on regardless.
